Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives

We are partnering with a growing, multi-site organization to identify a Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to help lead established business operations while building and scaling new programs and business opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, analytical leader who enjoys owning business performance, solving complex challenges, and turning ideas into scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with experience building or growing a business line, product, or program.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial and operational performance of an established business line, including P&L, labor budgets, margins, efficiency targets, and vendor spend.

• Develop and implement operating standards, SOPs, KPIs, quality controls, and automation to improve performance and scalability.

• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

• Set strategic direction and drive platform functionality, product roadmaps, and future growth initiatives.

• Identify operational gaps and partner with leadership to develop solutions that improve business results.

• Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategy documentation.

• Manage relationships with vendors, independent providers, and industry partners, including contracts and ROI tracking.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiting, Implementation, Payroll, IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations to launch and execute complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field; graduate degree preferred.

• 5–8 years of experience in operations, program or product management, strategy, or general management.

• Experience in healthcare, staffing, marketplaces, or multi-site services is a plus.

• 2–5 years of experience leading teams, ideally supporting early-career or high-volume workforces.

• Demonstrated experience building, launching, or scaling a program, product, or business line with P&L accountability.

• Strong financial acumen, business judgment, analytical skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.

• Experience using BI reporting tools such as Power BI, including the ability to interpret data and perform light report development.

• Excellent project management, organizational, writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.

• Comfortable leading meetings and influencing executive and field-level stakeholders.

• Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and presentation development.
