Talent Acquisition/ Sourcing Consultant (6-Month Contract)
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour.
Hoover, AL (Hybrid)

Our global  partner is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition/Sourcing Consultant to support its North American recruiting team during a period of high hiring demand. This six-month contract role will focus primarily on proactive sourcing, talent pipeline development, and engaging qualified candidates across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing expertise, experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments, and the ability to identify and attract top talent for difficult-to-fill positions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain talent pipelines across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, Corporate, Consumer Care, and Life Sciences
• Proactively identify, source, and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other online sourcing tools
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies and deliver qualified candidate shortlists for critical and difficult-to-fill positions
• Conduct market mapping, competitor research, and talent availability assessments to support recruiting strategies
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to improve candidate flow and accelerate hiring timelines
• Maintain consistent candidate outreach, follow-up, and accurate ATS/CRM documentation
• Conduct recruiter screens and support candidate management and interview coordination as needed
• Assist with offer-stage coordination, candidate communications, and independently managing assigned requisitions during periods of elevated hiring demand
• Ensure sourcing and recruiting activities comply with company policies and human resources guidelines

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or strategic sourcing
• Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates for specialized or difficult-to-fill positions
• Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and internet sourcing techniques
• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments and managing multiple requisitions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, and recruiting processes
• Manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences recruiting experience preferred
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule based in Hoover, AL.  3 Days in the Office, 2 Days work from home.
