Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Our client, a growing law firm with a strong regional presence, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about client advocacy, has hands-on trial experience, and can manage personal injury cases from initial evaluation through litigation and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake and investigation through trial or settlement.
• Evaluate claims, gather evidence, and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and insurance carriers to pursue favorable outcomes.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Manage deadlines, prioritize competing demands, and coordinate with support staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active Tennessee law license in good standing.
• 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Demonstrated trial experience required.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and advocate effectively for clients.
