Our client is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join a collaborative, award-winning design practice. Whether you bring a solid mid-level foundation (3+ years of experience) or extensive design leadership expertise (10+ years of experience), you will play an integral role in creating thoughtful, innovative environments across a diverse portfolio—including higher education, corporate workplace, healthcare, and lifestyle projects. Job Description: 
  • Drive all phases of interior design from initial programming and conceptual mapping through construction administration
  • Facilitate client workshops, space planning sessions, and compelling design presentations that communicate visual intent
  • Curate and select high-quality finish palettes, material specifications, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
  • Produce accurate, coordinated Revit documentation, including plans, interior elevations, details, and schedules
  • Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to maintain design integrity
  • Direct construction administration tasks including field measurements, submittal reviews, RFIs, and punch lists
  • Coordinate product procurement, logistics, and final on-site installation reviews
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams, uphold rigorous firm standards, and mentor junior staff (for senior-level candidates)

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
  • 3 to 10+ years of professional interior design experience, ideally within an architecture or commercial design firm
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit; familiarity with Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of space planning, FF&E specifications, interior detailing, and material performance
  • Working knowledge of current building codes, life safety regulations, and ADA accessibility standards
  • Exceptional graphic, verbal, and written communication skills with strong presentation poise
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage overlapping schedules and multiple design deliverables
  • NCIDQ certification (or active progress toward it) is preferred
  • Mandatory requirement: Submission of a professional portfolio or work samples
