Our client is seeking an experienced AI Technology Project Manager to provide immediate project leadership for active and emerging artificial intelligence initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology project leader who has hands-on experience managing AI or AI-enabled projects and can step into an active portfolio with minimal ramp-up time.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technology project management skills, exceptional cross-functional leadership, and practical experience guiding AI initiatives from evaluation and planning through implementation, adoption, and transition to operational support.

  • Help define AI use cases, measurable outcomes, success criteria, governance requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into project progress, risks, decisions, investments, and expected business value.
  • Manage iterative delivery in an environment involving changing requirements and technical uncertainty.
  • Drive execution, accountability, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading AI or AI-enabled technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing AI proofs of concept, pilots, and production implementations.
  • Strong technology project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage iterative delivery, changing requirements, and technical uncertainty.
  • Strong capabilities in risk, issue, dependency, budget, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to communicate AI concepts, risks, limitations, and business implications to nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong focus on execution, accountability, adoption, and measurable business results.

Important

This position is not an AI engineering or data science role. However, practical AI delivery experience is a core requirement rather than simply a preferred qualification.

The successful candidate should be able to step immediately into active initiatives and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up time.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must be comfortable working a standard Monday–Friday remote schedule of 7–4, 8–5, or 9–6.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background and drug screening.
