$85,000 - $95,000 + Bonus  
 

Our client is hiring a Senior Accountant to handle financial reporting, cost analysis, and operational accounting activities tied to production, transportation, and processing functions. This full-time, in-office role focuses on maintaining accurate financial data and supporting informed decision-making. 

As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to reporting integrity, analyze operational drivers, and collaborate across departments to improve financial visibility and performance tracking. This position interacts closely with both finance and operational teams to ensure alignment between data and business activity. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Compile journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and closing schedules as part of the monthly close cycle 

• Evaluate financial results tied to operating costs, transportation activity, and production outputs 

• Generate reporting that reflects volume metrics, throughput data, and cost performance 

• Reconcile operational data with accounting records to ensure completeness and accuracy 

• Assist with external reporting requirements, audits, and internal control compliance activities 

• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including operations, finance, and technology teams to resolve discrepancies 

• Perform variance reviews to explain fluctuations in cost drivers and operational metrics 

• Enhance reporting tools and workflows using financial systems and data platforms 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline 

• Professional certification such as CPA is beneficial but not required 

• At least three years of experience in accounting within complex or multi-entity environments 

• Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards and general accounting practices 

• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and familiarity with ERP systems 

• Experience working with data analysis tools such as SQL or Python is preferred 

• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 

• Effective communication skills with the ability to partner across business functions
