Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This is a full-time, primarily in-office position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal controls, and helping ensure timely close cycles. 

In this position, you will coordinate key accounting functions, engage with multiple departments, and contribute to process enhancements through automation and system improvements. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities. 
 

What You'll Do: 

• Develop and review financial reports and account reconciliations to validate accuracy 

• Execute month-end close procedures including journal entries and account analysis 

• Evaluate variances and research discrepancies within financial results 

• Assist with audit requests by preparing documentation and supporting schedules 

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory standards 

• Drive improvements in workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks 

• Apply advanced Excel techniques to enhance reporting and data quality 

• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial insights and reporting needs 
   

What We're Looking For: 

• Degree in Accounting or Finance 

• Approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience 

• CPA certification or progress toward completion 

• Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large data sets 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

• Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with minimal supervision 

• Experience with ERP platforms or automation initiatives is preferred
