Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support core financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for contributing to reporting, reconciliation processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. 

As a Staff Accountant, you will take part in day-to-day accounting activities while assisting with periodic close efforts and ensuring financial information is complete and compliant with internal standards. This role will collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely reporting and support ongoing process improvement initiatives. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

• Compile and submit financial reports to internal stakeholders and corporate leadership 

• Participate in month-end close activities, including account analysis and adjustments 

• Generate and post journal entries in accordance with reporting timelines 

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial data 

• Review and support accounts payable processes when needed 

• Strengthen internal controls and assist with compliance-related procedures 

• Contribute to process improvements within accounting systems and workflows 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience 

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook 

• Exposure to general accounting practices through professional or internship experience is preferred 

• Familiarity with accounts payable functions is a plus 

• Experience working with ERP systems is beneficial
