Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for an opportunity to support a busy litigation practice? Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to assist multiple attorneys with complex litigation and appellate matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist multiple attorneys through all stages of litigation from case inception through post-trial and appeal
• Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence including briefs, pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, letters, memoranda, and reports
• Organize and maintain electronic and paper files
• Maintain and track attorney calendars, schedules, and case deadlines
• Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments for multiple attorneys
• Coordinate travel arrangements and related logistics
• Enter, edit, and finalize attorney billable time and client billings in accordance with Outside Counsel Guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality of attorney work product and client information
• Utilize litigation databases and eDiscovery platforms for document management, searches, transcript loading, and coding
• Ensure compliance with federal and state court filing requirements, rules of procedure, and formatting standards
• Conduct factual research and respond to inquiries using internet and private search resources
• Provide administrative and litigation support as needed and assist with additional departmental projects

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered
• Prior litigation and appellate support experience required
• Experience with electronic filing systems in Texas state and federal courts, including federal circuit courts of appeals
• Knowledge of ABA Litigation Codes preferred
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms, document review, coding, searches, and productions preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing platforms
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple attorney assignments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both in-office and remote environments
• Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality
• Willingness to learn complex processes and legal procedures
• Some overtime and/or travel may be required
