A growing surgical practice is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Office Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a busy clinical environment. This leadership role is responsible for supporting front and back-office teams, optimizing practice operations, coordinating patient care, and maintaining an exceptional patient experience. This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized professional with a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and experience in healthcare or dental office management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support administrative and clinical support staff, fostering accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Oversee daily practice operations, including surgical scheduling, patient flow, case coordination, and front-office processes.
- Coordinate consultations, surgical procedures, post-operative appointments, and referral management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor office workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Support revenue cycle functions, including insurance verification, treatment estimates, billing oversight, collections, and reporting.
- Address patient inquiries and escalated concerns with professionalism, empathy, and timely resolution.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and performance support for team members in alignment with established policies and standards.
- Collaborate with practice leadership to maintain consistency in operations, support strategic goals, and uphold service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control protocols, and oral surgery safety standards.
- Support additional operational initiatives as needed to ensure smooth and efficient practice management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental, oral surgery, or healthcare office operations required.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of oral surgery scheduling, medical and dental insurance processes, and case presentation preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced surgical setting.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software and general office systems.
- Professional presence and strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
