Our client is seeking a Data Scientist focused on Trend Analytics and Forecasting to play a key role in shaping how the business uses data to make strategic decisions. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that directly influence performance and planning.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain forecasting models to project key business performance metrics
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Python, R, and Excel
• Create executive-level presentations to communicate forecasts and business trends
• Partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and Analytics teams to refine models and assumptions
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data workflows
• Document methodologies and establish repeatable, scalable processes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or forecasting roles
• Strong experience with Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Proven ability to build forecasting models and analyze business performance data
• Experience working with financial and/or operational datasets
• Ability to communicate insights to non-technical and executive audiences
• Comfortable working with imperfect or incomplete data and making informed assumptions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
