M&A Analyst

Our client is seeking an M&A Analyst to support financial diligence efforts tied to growth. This is a full-time, in-office position focused on reviewing historical financial performance, building forecasts, and supporting valuation and capital investment analysis. 

In this role, you will work closely with teams across business development, finance, accounting, and operations to evaluate potential acquisitions and capital projects. The position emphasizes quality of earnings analysis, forward-looking financial modeling, and clear communication of financial findings to stakeholders throughout the organization. 
 

What You’ll Do: 

• Prepare financial due diligence workbooks to evaluate results and identify potential risks and adjustments 

• Partner with business development teams, owners, and external advisors to gather and analyze detailed historical financial data 

• Build financial statements and develop multi-year forecasts for acquisition targets using operational input and internal analytics 

• Present financial results, risks, and opportunities to executives and cross-functional teams 

• Complete ad hoc financial analyses as needed 
 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred but not required 

• One+ years’ of relevant experience, ideally in public accounting or a multi-location environment 

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data, challenge assumptions, and develop insights 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines 

• Excellent attention to detail with solid accounting fundamentals and advanced Excel skills 

• Clear and confident communication skills suited for a fast-paced setting
