Our client is seeking a Corporate Manager - Accounting to support accurate financial reporting and provide financial analysis to help the company achieve its financial targets. This full-time, in-office position is responsible for accounting activities across multiple locations.
As Corporate Manager - Accounting, you will oversee core accounting processes, ensure financial controls are followed, and act as a liaison between corporate accounting and the business in key accounting areas.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and support positive associate morale
• Ensure financial controls are followed
• Prepare month-end close and monthly reconciliations
• Ensure required journal entries are posted timely
• Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations
• Monitor financial postings for accuracy
• Participate in updates, modifications, or enhancements to financial systems including SAP S4 and Blackline
• Review internal controls and provide input on changes to standard operating procedures
• Serve as liaison between corporate accounting and the business related to general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Provide financial analysis and information as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
• 3 to 5 years of related accounting experience
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• ERP system experience preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Blackline experience preferred
• Effective written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel to other company locations as needed
• Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with company safety, attendance, and fleet policies
