Join a leading national healthcare organization that is undergoing a high-impact digital transformation.  They are seeking a visionary leader to drive the evolution of their HRIS organization.

As the Director of HR Technology, you will be the executive owner of the upcoming Oracle HCM transformation. The mission is to evolve the HR Technology function into an agile, product-oriented team that drives innovation and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in preparing the enterprise for large-scale implementations, optimizing existing workforce management systems, and refining global support strategies.

Job Duties:
  • Agile Transformation & Team Building: Build and evolve the HR Technology team from the ground up. Establish an internal Operating Model utilizing agile methodologies, sprint rituals, and standard practices to move from a legacy mindset to a product-led organization.
  • Oracle HCM Lifecycle Ownership: Serve as the executive lead for the Oracle HCM implementation from start to finish. Manage the full spectrum of the project lens: preparation, scope, vendor governance, timeline, and risk management.
  • IT Architecture & Security Partnership: Deeply partner with IT leadership to balance R&R (Roles & Responsibilities) across the HR Tech stack. Align on cloud architecture, data security, enterprise integrations, and non-production environment strategies.
  • Enterprise Integration & Optimization: Overseen the optimization and integration of a complex tech stack, ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle HCM, UKG Pro Core, UKG Workforce Management, iCIMS (Talent Acquisition), and ServiceNow (HRSD).
  • Capability Development: Drive process optimizations and performance management. Develop team capabilities to ensure they can support and evolve the system post-implementation.
  • Lifecycle Strategy: Lead the creation of cutover, hyper-care, and stabilization plans. Define staffing ratios and capacity measures for onshore/offshore teams to ensure sustainable, high-quality output.
  • Data & Privacy Stewardship: Partner with People Analytics to author a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring all solutions meet global privacy/compliance standards while enabling predictive executive insights.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Act as the primary lead for vendor relationships, including SOW/contract negotiations and budget stewardship. Manage contractors and consulting firms to ensure delivery on all technical components.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years of HR Technology/HRIS leadership experience within an enterprise-level environment.
  • Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated success undergoing a full-lifecycle HCM implementation (start to finish) and evolving the team to support the new system post-launch.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM, UKG Pro Core, UKG Workforce Management (WFM), iCIMS, and ServiceNow.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build HRIS teams from the ground up, implementing Agile product team structures and driving complex organizational change.
  • IT Literacy: Deep experience partnering with IT departments on system architecture, API integrations, security protocols, and operations.
  • Global Operations: Experience managing global support models, including leading and scaling offshore teams (specifically India).
  • Strategic Stewardship: Strong background in vendor management, SOW negotiation, and managing large-scale budgets and consulting agencies.
  • Analytics & Compliance: Familiarity with HR data platforms, BI/analytics, and data privacy/compliance standards.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
