Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact on a company's financial health? Are you a collections professional with a knack for resolving outstanding balances while providing exceptional customer service? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assume full ownership of the accounts receivable portfolio to reduce DSO
- Assess and develop the credit team through targeted training and mentorship
- Author and implement formal credit protocols and department policies
- Serve as a liaison between the credit department and branch sales teams
- Manage notice to owner processes and lien filings
- Identify and implement new technologies to improve department automation
- Establish trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and customers
- Monitor weekly revenue flow to ensure consistent company liquidity
Job Requirements:
- Extensive credit and collections experience within the construction or industrial sectors
- Technical proficiency in lien laws and NTO requirements for AL, GA, and FL
- Proven ability to lead and develop a professional administrative team
- Strong interpersonal skills for firm yet diplomatic collections
- Analytical mindset for evaluating customer creditworthiness and setting limits
- High proficiency in accounting software and modern automation tools
- Self-motivated work style with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to travel occasionally to various branches and customer locations
