Our client, a growing engineering and design firm, is seeking a Project Modeler to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with strong drafting and 3D modeling experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment to produce high-quality construction documentation and models.

The Project Modeler will play a key role in developing detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and erection drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client and industry standards. This position works closely with engineering, drafting, and BIM teams to support project delivery and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D structural models using industry-standard software

• Prepare shop drawings, erection drawings, and construction documentation

• Interpret construction documents and coordinate with other trades’ drawings

• Review and ensure accuracy of drawings produced by BIM technicians

• Support collaboration with engineering, drafting, and BIM teams

• Assist with coordination between design teams and production partners

• Participate in development and improvement of internal modeling standards

• Provide mentorship and training to junior BIM team members

• Maintain quality control of models and construction documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting or modeling experience in construction or engineering environments

• Experience with Autodesk Revit

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with EDGE software is a plus

• Ability to interpret construction documents and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education

• Associate degree or trade school training preferred but not required
