Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret financial and legal obligations within real estate and equipment contracts to capture data in lease management software.
- Process incoming contracts efficiently to ensure all systems reflect real-time financial information.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify and resolve critical data gaps.
- Identify and propose adjustments to standard accounting tasks to improve overall departmental efficiency and accuracy.
- Execute month-end closing tasks, including processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and researching discrepancies under tight deadlines.
- Examine and analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure compliance with procedural standards and accuracy.
- Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers on time-sensitive special projects and group initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Experience reading and interpreting legal or contractual agreements is considered a strong plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict financial deadlines.
- Commitment to professional integrity and "doing the right thing" in all business dealings.
