A growing industrial solutions provider is seeking a Solutions Sales Representative to support customers across the Chicago region. This remote role focuses on delivering customized hardware, software, and service-based solutions that improve maintenance, reliability, and operational efficiency for industrial clients.

We’re looking for someone who is solution-focused, technically minded, and skilled at building strong relationships while managing multiple solution offerings.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow relationships with internal partners and customer sites to expand solution adoption

  • Create tailored proposals addressing customer operational and reliability needs

  • Meet site visit, quoting, and revenue performance targets

  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and software providers to deliver customized solutions

  • Support contract execution and solution deployment

  • Provide financial and ROI analysis supporting solution recommendations

  • Deliver solution training and support as needed

  • Mentor junior team members and support sales initiatives

  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth through expanded solution placements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience selling technical, hardware, software, or service-based solutions preferred

  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions

  • Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills

  • Comfortable supporting multiple solution lines

  • Self-motivated with a track record of achieving results

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Industry certifications in reliability, sustainability, or maintenance solutions are a plus

Work Environment & Travel

  • Remote position; candidates in the Chicago area or within a few hours’ drive preferred

  • 30–40% regional travel required

  • Work may include time in industrial environments requiring PPE

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs when needed

Performance Measures

Success in this role is measured by achievement of quarterly revenue targets and successful expansion of solution adoption.
