What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
- Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Establishing and maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small, high-performing accounting team
- Supporting audits and serving as a key liaison with external auditors
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA strongly preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
- Ability to thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment
