Our client, a privately held real estate investment firm headquartered in Savannah, GA, is hiring a Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. With multiple offices across the Southeast, they continue to be a strong leader in the industry and pride themselves on a collaborative, close-knit culture.
This role will report directly to the Controller while also working closely with the CFO, offering outstanding visibility and hands-on experience across the organization. The office has a laid-back, team-oriented environment where employees support one another and enjoy coming to work each day.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable for assigned assets
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare loan reporting and related schedules
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analyses as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Open to hiring recent accounting graduates or candidates with several years of experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Solid communication skills and a proactive mindset
