The company is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the organization’s financial reporting, planning, and analysis. This role will work closely with the President and partner with a talented, long-tenured team across the business.

The Opportunity
The company is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the organization’s financial reporting, planning, and analysis. This role will work closely with the President and partner with a talented, long-tenured team across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting function, including month-end close, general ledger oversight, and financial reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Prepare and present financial insights that support business decisions
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related operations
- Partner with the President on financial planning and operational improvements
- Support evaluation of strategic initiatives, including potential acquisitions
- Mentor and guide accounting team members to support their continued growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end/quarter-end processes
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ability to analyze data and present insights to leadership
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on role within a family-oriented, team-driven culture
