Our partner in Birmingham, AL is seeking a detail-oriented Repair & Maintenance Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of their various locations within the US. They would like to find someone with experience working within a hotel or retail environment. HVAC and plumbing experience is a plus. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple requests, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answer department phones for initial repair and maintenance requests, track documentation, and route to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain accurate records and logs on a daily basis.
- Prepare and update reports as needed.
- Assist with payroll, vacation tracking, and other administrative duties.
- Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous office experience, ideally with knowledge of equipment, maintenance, or repair terminology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong communication skills and a sense of urgency when handling requests.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
