Job Duties:
- Lead the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
- Manage and process payroll for approximately 150 employees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll provider, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Manage the administration of employee stock and dividend programs, ensuring all related payroll tax requirements are met.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as international tax laws.
- Partner with the accounting and HR teams to provide regular payroll reporting and strategic financial insights.
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies, questions, or issues, providing a high level of professional and confidential support to all employees.
- Conduct internal audits of payroll data and processes to maintain data integrity and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration.
- Proven experience in managing multi-state U.S. payroll processes and overseeing international payroll with third-party providers a plus.
- Expertise with enterprise-level payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with complex payroll components, including stock-based compensation and equity management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and a commitment to ensuring full compliance.
- The ability to handle highly confidential information with absolute trustworthiness and professionalism.
- A meticulous approach to data entry, audits, and reporting to maintain accuracy and prevent errors.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership.
