Our client is searching for a Payroll Manager to add to their team.  This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented individual who enjoys managing the payroll function.  As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll management of a highly professional team. Job Duties:
  • Lead the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
  • Manage and process payroll for approximately 150 employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll provider, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Manage the administration of employee stock and dividend programs, ensuring all related payroll tax requirements are met.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as international tax laws.
  • Partner with the accounting and HR teams to provide regular payroll reporting and strategic financial insights.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies, questions, or issues, providing a high level of professional and confidential support to all employees.
  • Conduct internal audits of payroll data and processes to maintain data integrity and identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-state U.S. payroll processes and overseeing international payroll with third-party providers a plus.
  • Expertise with enterprise-level payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex payroll components, including stock-based compensation and equity management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and a commitment to ensuring full compliance.
  • The ability to handle highly confidential information with absolute trustworthiness and professionalism.
  • A meticulous approach to data entry, audits, and reporting to maintain accuracy and prevent errors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership.
