Job Description:
- Serve as a legal project manager, triaging incoming legal issues and coordinating across internal teams, outside counsel, and global legal partners.
- Support board and governance functions, including preparing minutes, assisting with meetings, and maintaining records.
- Manage and support corporate governance and compliance processes across U.S. and international entities.
- Collaborate on real estate, M&A, and cross-border transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
- Help develop internal legal systems, workflows, and documentation from the ground up.
- Be a strategic partner to the Chief Legal Officer - working closely on sensitive, high-priority matters and learning alongside leadership.
To be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have:
- Paralegal experience (5+ years preferred), especially in corporate, real estate, or transactional law.
- Experience in corporate law is required; bonus if you’ve worked with subsidiaries or international legal structures.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly.
- Comfortable taking initiative, solving problems, and figuring out next steps without hand-holding.
- A polished, detail-oriented communicator who can interact confidently with attorneys, executives, and outside counsel.
