Are you a strategic and hands-on leader with deep expertise in revenue cycle operations? We’re looking for an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and drive performance across all revenue cycle functions—from patient access to billing and collections. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the front-end and back-end operations of billing, coding, and patient financial services. The ideal candidate brings a collaborative mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence in healthcare administration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team overseeing insurance verification, authorizations, financial counseling, billing, coding, AR management, and more.
  • Oversee and support clinical administrative teams, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in operations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external partners, payers, and internal leadership regarding contract management and negotiations.
  • Leverage technology to streamline workflows and improve quality and compliance.
  • Manage audits, denial trends, and develop proactive solutions to reduce future denials.
  • Ensure all operations align with HIPAA standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture centered on accountability, quality, and patient service.
  • Mentor, develop, and support team members through training and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics, driving continual performance improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Accounting, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, with 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of billing, coding, and payer regulations—experience in oncology is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with EMRs, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with a willingness to dig in alongside the team when needed.
  • Experience in a complex healthcare organization.
  • Certification in medical billing/coding or healthcare administration (optional but a plus).
  • Proven success in process improvement, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
