What You'll Do:
- Lead and perform financial operations, including accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and fiscal controls
- Follow internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses
- Coordinate the annual audit process
- Provide financial guidance to support the organization’s mission and goals
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in not-for-profit financial management, church business administration, or public accounting with a focus on not-for-profit clients is a bonus
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in accounting and financial software, database management systems, and computer hardware
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of interpreting financial data to support informed decision-making for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and perform tasks independently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities
- Superior organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines consistently
