Education Requirements
- Associate degree or completed trade school preferred but not required.
Experience
- 5-7 years of precast drafting experience.
Software Skills
- MS Office
- Autodesk REVIT
Job Duties
- Creatively develop and finalize 3D models of structures in accordance with client specifications.
- Oversee and prepare erection drawings and details.
- Analyze construction documents and shop drawings from various trades.
- Supervise and review BIM technicians' shop and erection drawings.
- Contribute to the development of ongoing standards.
- Collaborate externally with precast producers and design teams.
- Coordinate internally with drafting, engineering, and BIM departments.
- Mentor and train BIM technicians.
- Ensure the quality control of shop and erection drawings.
