- Lead by Example: Guide and mentor your team, fostering talent within the department and supporting their career development.
- Sharpen our Risk Focus: Identify control weaknesses, assess emerging threats, and advise leadership on control awareness, strengthening the company's risk posture.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual audit plan, ensuring established policies are upheld. Streamline processes and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Clear Communication: Prepare insightful audit reports, dashboards, and findings, fostering effective communication with senior leadership.
We Value:
- Deep Expertise: Advanced knowledge of IT general control frameworks, with a solid understanding of business operations and financial controls.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and the ability to develop/review IT audit testing approaches.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills and the ability to build positive relationships with peers, management, and external parties.
- Problem-solving & Adaptability: Excellent time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to devise alternative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
- IT audit/security certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM) required; additional certifications (CPA, CIA) a plus.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing audits in large-scale information security environments, preferably in healthcare.
- Minimum 5 years' of IT and/or security audit experience, ideally within the healthcare payer environment.
