Currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to take charge of overseeing ongoing projects within our company. In this role, you will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are meticulously managed. Your responsibilities encompass delivering project milestones, compiling status reports, and creating effective project communication strategies while ensuring their successful implementation across multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with cross-disciplinary team members to guarantee alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Conduct daily meetings with project team members to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure that project deliverables adhere to established quality standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive internal and external project status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing pertinent information.
  • Establish efficient project communication plans and oversee their execution both internally and externally.
  • Facilitate change requests and maintain all stakeholders' awareness of their impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Oversee the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documentation necessary for the successful implementation and handover of processes or systems to clients.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities with clients.
  • Secure customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Exercise oversight over project budgets.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage at least two projects with a value of $15 million or more concurrently, with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with field management to formulate a comprehensive job site safety plan.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Owner's Representative, Engineer, and Architect.
  • Partner with Pre-Construction, Operations, and Field Supervision to identify and execute all contract deliverables, quality testing, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop staging, logistics, and phasing plans in conjunction with Field Supervision for each project.
  • Lead the coordination of subcontractors.
  • Oversee project startup activities, including permit acquisition, licensing, and jobsite mobilization.
  • Facilitate subcontractor pre-construction/startup meetings.
  • Administer subcontracts (including payments, insurance, bond, safety, and haz-com compliance) and purchase orders for all trades.
  • Provide weekly updates on the overall project schedule and participate in job scheduling meetings.
  • Share responsibility with Field Supervision for maintaining project quality control.
  • Prioritize, review, and expedite submittals.
  • Ensure timely material deliveries in accordance with project schedule requirements.
  • Understand and manage quantity updates, working with Superintendents to maintain accurate labor forecasts.
  • Review, develop, and administer change orders for subcontractors and purchase orders.
  • Review projections, labor reports, safety documentation, and schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Review and approve material/equipment invoices in line with the project budget.
  • Prepare payment requests and ensure timely collections.
  • Meet with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to review project progress and inspections.
  • Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) progress meetings and create monthly status reports.
  • Enter and update project information in project management software, including job status reports, projections, change orders, and Request for Information (RFI) records.
  • Manage and oversee job close-out documentation and procedures, encompassing closeout documents, final job reports, and final accounting.
  • Mentor and provide training to junior staff members.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Four or more years of experience in field and project planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams of various sizes to successful completion.
  • Proficiency in formal project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP implementation.
  • Experience in overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
