Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for an Administrative Assistant to add to their team. They are looking for someone they can teach general office tasks to. Responsibilities will include:
- Assist department with various administrative tasks
- All written correspondence – formal, professional writing style
- Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare travel itinerary/packet, reconciles expense reports
- Coordinate corporate visitor arrangements, and conference room preparation
- Maintain calendar, notifications and tickler system
- Meeting schedule, recaps and record minutes, as assigned
- Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming (via email or other methods) issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Taking care of company matters with confidentiality and maintaining important documents
Requirements:
- At least one year of administrative experience required
- Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of office procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
