Part time 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM three days a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday preferred however, possibly some flexibility for Tuesday and Thursday.

Job duties:
  • Receive, sort and review invoices/requisition for goods and services, and check requests. Checks for proper account codes.
  • Verify that all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
  • Maintain a record and filing system of accounts payable vendor files and other financial records, including purchase orders and invoices for retrieval/review by the Administrator.
  • Assist vendors with billing questions/concerns. Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop-payments or payments, or other adjustments.
  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Charges expenses to appropriate departments and GL codes by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Protects organization’s values by keeping information confidential.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two (2) years of accounts payable and general accounting experience. Proficient in mathematics and writing skills.
  • Proficient in knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment, including calculators (adding machines) and computers.
  • Able to use various computer software in order to perform daily job duties.
  • Must possess effective communication skills.
