Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for a Medical Receptionist for 3 of their local offices. They want a dedicated individual to serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for their clientele.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for medical front office and greet clients that come in
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals
- Answer a multi-line phone system with a friendly and professional tone and direct callers to the appropriate personnel
- Collect Co-Pays
- Check patients in and out
- Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
- Assist management with light clerical duties and support functions
- Handle the mail delivery, sign for packages and handle any other request needed in the front office
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of receptionist and/or administrative experience
- A willingness to work hard, dedication and dependability
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Punctuality
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Customer service-driven personality
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
