Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for a Medical Receptionist for 3 of their local offices. They want a dedicated individual to serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for their clientele. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for medical front office and greet clients that come in
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals
  • Answer a multi-line phone system with a friendly and professional tone and direct callers to the appropriate personnel
  • Collect Co-Pays
  • Check patients in and out
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Assist management with light clerical duties and support functions
  • Handle the mail delivery, sign for packages and handle any other request needed in the front office

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of receptionist and/or administrative experience
  • A willingness to work hard, dedication and dependability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Punctuality
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Customer service-driven personality
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
