Our partner in Birmingham is searching for a Certified Pharmacy Tech to work in a hybrid home/office role that will assist their Prior Authorization Team. This is a contract role now, but there is always the potential it becoming longer-term. Job Description:
- Perform administrative work including data entry, reviewing prior authorization requests from doctors and calling doctors’ offices when additional information is needed.
- Enter data into company software.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician; state certificatin required, national a plus!
- Retail or clinical pharmacy experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills needed.
- Strong communication skills a must.
