Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for an Employee Benefits Account Manager.  In this role you will be responsible for assisting a team of Commercial Lines Account Managers with servicing of the Commercial Lines accounts. Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will include the following: assisting the Commercial Lines Account Manager with preparing certificates of insurance
  • Researching coverage issues, policy discrepancies
  • Responding to billing inquiries, cancellation and reinstatement issues;
  • Reviewing policies and policy changes received from the insurance carriers for accuracy and requesting corrections as needed;
  • Preparing policy documents for delivery to clients;
  • Preparing summaries of insurance;
  • Updating the agency management system;
  • Advising the Account Manager of any discrepancies that may affect the client

 

Requirements:

  • 1 year or more years of Commercial Lines Insurance Service experience
  • Must have experience with issuing Certificates of Insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
