Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for a Technical Support Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide both hardware and software support to internal and field users
  • Support the technology equipment: pcs, laptops, software, and systems hardware
  • Install, diagnose, upgrade, repair, and configure desktops/laptops and printers
  • Manage and resolve users request through a ticketing system
  • Track and escalate and issues as needed
  • Support will be done via phone, online, remote access or in person
  • Stay current on new technologies including software and hardware
  • Full command of MS  Office Suite including Active Directory and O365,


Job Details:

  • Answer incoming request from user via phone or email (occasionally in person)
  • Document user identification information in tracking system
  • Develop a working relationship with the user community to help with proactive service
  • Document the tickets and the resolution process for future knowledge
  • Research issues and processes for the team
  • Install anti-virus software
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Perform post-resolution follow up with users


Experience:

  • 3+ years of Technical Experience (Computer Hardware)
  • Experience with Microsoft, Window products including Active Directory, O365, Azure and SharePoint preferred
  • Bonus: Exp with Cisco tools, Servers, and Firewalls
  • IOS exp
  • Diagnostic Utility experience
  • Excellent Verbal and Written skills
  • Able to work with a team and work independently


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • A+ Certification - preferred
  • Network+ Certification (bonus)
