Our partner in downtown Birmingham, AL is in need of multiple customer care associates to join their growing team during their busy season.  This position provides support to established customers in a contact center environment. Job Description:

  • Successfully sell products to established customers via multiple customer contact channels
    through up-selling and cross-selling established products and introduction of new brands
    and packages which results in increased volume and profitability.
  • Through all contact methods: phone calls and email, handles general inquiries and complaints from customers.
  • Applies knowledge and skills to interpret and explain account information, initiates appropriate orders from customers requesting service and performs corrective actions.
  • Takes initiative, utilizes judgment and makes decisions to satisfy customers independently to ensure first call resolution.
  • Supports the company’s overall objective to provide exceptional service, ensuring that no complaints are generated by lack of follow-up, customer service skills, or errors.
  • Answers a sufficient number of calls daily, based on call volume. Utilizes “Stellar Service” skills to provide excellent customer service.
  • Places telephone in the appropriate state when accepting or not accepting customer contacts and when away from workstation.
  • Follows all customer service guidelines and process transactions accurately.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 plus years of customer care experience in a call center environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate the job category competencies: customer-focused, results-driven, teamwork, communications, adaptability, initiative, problem solving and quality.
