Typical responsibilities include preparing the following:

• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
• Spearhead month-end and year-end close processes with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, providing valuable insights to support key business initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations and enhance financial controls.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Minimum three (3) years technical accounting experience (i.e., familiarity with GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s degree preferred
• CPA, preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong computer application skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
• Must be able to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks
• Strong knowledge of internal control over financial reporting and the requirements customary for public companies
