Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Participate in acquisition due diligence by analyzing financial statements, assessing risks, and evaluating potential opportunities
- Conduct in-depth research on accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP, providing guidance and recommendations for best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives
- Assist with external audit requests, providing necessary documentation and support to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process
- Mentor, train, and supervise team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and quality of their work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
